Solutions for Water Boxes/Heat Exchangers - April 2014
Share this newsletter

I went to help with a job at a power plant in Lawrenceburg a few years back.  I was talking with Brian about man hours and how we were pretty happy to get about 6 hours of productivity a day from the people in our offices.  He countered and asked me how many hours of productivity I thought he got.  He smiled and held up 3 fingers.  I should note they were in an outage and safety is everyone’s number one priority.

Power plants, like every industry, have main condensors, heat exchangers, tube sheets and waterboxes that should be protected from the effects of erosion/corrosion.  Belzona has been performing these applications for over 30 years here in the Midwest.  We have found that once this equipment is repaired and protected it is highly unlikely that you will ever replace it.  Our application company is trained to work in environments like yours.

Before you button up your main condensors, let us come in and quote you on a solution to repair, protect and improve these critical components to your process.
